Keisha Blair is a trained Economist, Policy Expert and Author. She is a Contributor for Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global, FinerMinds by Mindvalley, Swaay Media, and is a Featured Expert at She started her career working on some of the largest international education projects funded by the World Bank and the International Development Bank with the objectives of increasing student resilience.

She also worked in social policy for almost a decade and developed policies for clinical social workers working with kids and families in the social welfare system. She has been quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Harvard Business Review, Essence Magazine, The Huffington Post, Psychology Today, Prevention Magazine, Country Living Magazine, among many others. She earned an M.A. in Public Policy, as well as a B.S.c. Double Major in International Relations and Management Studies.

She is the Co-founder of Aspire-Canada. She also founded the Aspire-Canada memorial scholarship to help students with the cost of their post-secondary education. She is a fierce advocate for young widows and founded The Modern Widow, to help young widows with careers, parenting and relationships.

Her academic research includes “Reallocation tools and capacity in 10-country OECD countries”; a project undertaken for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. She has also been featured alongside America’s top money experts.  She loves travelling and creating original recipes, that have been featured in many blogs and publications online.

She is married and has three children.
